Pattern recognition is one of the branches of the field of artificial intelligence.

Components of the basic pattern recognition system consists of four patterns

    1. censorship
     Sensors are used to capture the characteristics of the object or its features will be extracted

    2. Pre-processing mechanism
     object processing mechanisms that are captured by the sensor is typically used to reduce the complexity of the features that will be used for the classification process.

     3. Search mechanism features (automated manual)
     This section is used to extract features of the melaluitahapan prepocessing to separate it from the features of objects that are not needed in the classification process.

     4. sorting algorithm
     at this stage classification process is done using a specific classification algorithm. The results from this phase is the classification of the object is captured into the criteria that have been determined.
